July 12 - BirthWays, Waddle and Swaddle,
and maternity Xchange present the East Bay Baby Fair on July 12 from 11 - 3. The East
Bay Baby Fair is an event for new and expecting parents in the
Bay Area. Come meet representatives from many pregnancy, birth,
parenting and baby related resources in our area including doulas,
midwives, massage therapists, fitness instructors, childbirth educators,
lactation consultants, photographers and more. Learn by talking to
experts, participating in workshops and watching demonstrations.
Shop for maternity clothes, children's items and more. New and nearly
new, brand name clothes for 75% off retail prices. Come enjoy snacks
and refreshments and lots of free promotional goodies. This event

July 13 - Showing of "Becoming a Father,
a glimpse inside the Fathers' Forum" . Join Bruce Linton, founder of
the Fathers' Forum, for a viewing of his new film and discussion on July 13th
from 3:00PM-5:00PM. Bruce Linton has been leading men's groups for new dads
since 1989 and this documentary exemplifies how fathers talking with
each other in the early years of parenting has a lasting benefit on the
dads, their children and partners. Come join us for a viewing of the film
and a stimulating discussion about parenting from the dads perspective.
