As a birth doula and perinatal wellness practitioner, I am delighted to support you and your family throughout your labor and birth wherever, whenever, and however you choose to birth your beloved baby.

Having received my birth care training through the Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators (ALACE) in 1999 and with Pam England author of Birthing from Within in 2000, you will be extraordinarily well supported and authentically respected. I also was so fortunate to receive invaluable training from Stephanie Brill, LM founder of Maia Midwifery and Preconception Services and to have served as an apprentice midwife with Five Senses Midwifery in 2001. In 2000, I completed Elizabeth Davis' Heart and Hands Advanced Midwifery training as well as the Ann Arbor School of Holistic Midwifery in 1999. I will gladly offer you a wide range of creative comfort measures to assist you in a more easeful, efficient, enjoyable, empowered, and even ecstatic birth and postpartum period. As a safe birth advocate, I offer my expertise from 20+ years of experience working with hundreds of Bay Area families.

Additionally, I am happy to offer Swedish Esalen massage, cranialsacral therapy, acupressure, reflexology, Reiki, and aromatherapy bodywork sessions. As a hypnotherapy and PSYCH-K facilitator with a doctorate in clinical psychology and a specialization in maternal mental health, I provide holistic counseling, coaching, and consultation. Over the years, I have facilitated numerous preconception, prenatal, and postpartum support groups at various locations including BirthWays, Bloom (Walnut Creek), Blossom (Palo Alto), LGBTQ Perinatal Wellness Center, (Oakland), Natural Resources (SF), Our Family Coalition (SF) and Then Comes Baby (Oakland). (Please see my website for upcoming groups).
