The weeks following birth can feel miraculous and challenging. My task is to support you as you bond with the new baby in your life. I provide nurturing, nonjudgmental in-home support through the joys and challenges of the first weeks and months postpartum, helping you settle into the new rhythms of your family. I offer daytime and overnight services.
I believe that the early bonding period is a crucial time during which all families deserve solid, nurturing care, allowing your full focus to be on baby. I will take cooking, cleaning, and laundry off your plate, and will nurture baby while you shower, nap, or sleep, ensuring you get what you need to care for your newborn day after day.
I am certified through Cornerstone Doula Training in San Francisco. In my doula practice, I bring my compassionate heart and my awe for little ones to support your family in this transitional time. My warm, calm presence often puts others at ease, and my strong sense of intuition allows me to quickly respond to my client’s feelings and needs.
Before entering the doula world, I spent several years in social services working with LGBT elders and people experiencing homelessness. My work as a social service provider shines through in my doula practice as I provide grounding emotional support and exceptional referrals for any needs that may arise.
