I have been providing support for families based on their needs and desires, providing nonjudgemental educational support based on the current research since 2009. Because each family is looking for something unique and specific to them, I choose to support a mother and her partner based on where they are and what their hopes are without introducing bias or my own desires.
I am a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator, Labor Doula, Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator, CAPPA Childbirth Educator Trainer, and student midwife. My experience and certifications allow me to give a very well-rounded and full support of families before and after their baby is born. I also abide by the CAPPA Scope of Practice and Code of Conduct, ensuring that families and care providers alike know exactly what my role is and what their expectations of me will be.
I happily support families at home, in the hospital, or in the birth center, helping to encourage the birth experience they are hoping and preparing for. References are provider for other professionals in the area, depending on what my clients are looking for or need.
Feel free to email me with questions or to set up a free initial consult. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
