Breastfeeding Class

Breastfeeding, like the rest of parenting, is not always easy and takes practice. This course will provide expectant parents with practical hands-on experience and information on the art of breastfeeding.

Description:

This 2.5-hour class covers getting off to a good start, building a robust milk supply, recognizing newborn feeding and satiety cues, how to know your baby is getting enough milk, important ways for partners to support breastfeeding, and ways to avoid and address common difficulties. Partners strongly encouraged to attend! This class is intended to be taken while you are still pregnant.

  • Effective latch and positioning
  • Maternal Nutrition
  • Milk Supply and Breastfeeding Plan
  • Newborn hunger cues
  • Concerns and Challenges
  • Problem solving and tips
  • Returning to Work or School
  • Support Systems and Community Resources

$100 per couple
